How Am I Evaluated?
In order to receive a course diploma or certificate, there are two evaluation steps involved.
Lesson assignments must be submitted to the allocated tutor. These assignment are part of a continual assessment process that accounts for 40% of your final course grade.
On completion of lesson assignments, the course ‘Final Exam’ can be requested. The Final Exam accounts for 60% of the final course grade.
The combination of continual assessment and final exam determines the course grade according to the table below
| Grade | Mark | Comments |
| A+ | 91 – 100 | Outstanding knowledge of the work submitted. |
| A | 86 – 90 | Excellent knowledge of the work submitted. |
| B | 80 – 85 | Very Good knowledge of the work submitted. |
| C | 76 – 80 | Good knowledge of the work submitted. |
| D | 70 – 75 | Fair knowledge of the work submitted. Re – write suggested for certain sections. |
| E | Below 70 | Re-write of the work submitted for examination purposes. |
